Catherine Wolf currently enjoys clashing with Kevin Bacon and Jill Hennessy in the Showtime series, City On A Hill, playing Rosa Congemi. Other TV appearances include guest starring on Blue Bloods as Aunt Sophia, The Blacklist and numerous episodes of Law and Order as well as The Jury, Sex and the City, and Cagney and Lacey. One of her favorite roles was the Angel of Death, Nurse Carol Grace, on the TV series OZ.

Catherine appeared in the film "Roadie", directed by Michael Cuesta, which opened at the TriBeCa Film Festival and “Can’t Dance”, winner of the Founders’ Choice Award. She plays Frank Langella's wife in Oliver Stone's "Wall Street 2" and in the Oscar nominated

“Little Children”, she played Jennifer Connolly’s mother.

On Broadway she appeared in “An Inspector Calls" directed by Stephen Daldry,

“Otherwise Engaged” and “The Innocents” both directed by Harold Pinter. “Cloud Nine” directed by Tommy Tune and “The Countess” which are among some of her

Off-Broadway credits.  She has also appeared in the most prestigious regional theatres

across the country; from ACT in Seattle, to Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and the Folger Shakespeare Theatre in DC among others.

Catherine Wolf created and acted as founding producing director of the Colleagues Theatre Company. The New York Times hailed it as “admirable – and valuable.”

The Colleagues Theatre Company

was founded six years ago by the actress Catherine Wolf with the admirable – and valuable – aim of producing work that focuses in subject matter on older people and in casting well-seasoned performers. It is a theatre of the venerable. It’s remarkable to see so many once prominent and still capable actors on the same stage.

The Madwoman of Chaillot

"The three ladies (Anne Jackson, Kim Hunter and Catherine Wolf) engage in high comedy that spiritedly elevates the production."
